St. Patricks Day seems a really big deal here. Most of the pubs downtown had queues to get in. We drank some green beer and met a friendly chap called Charles.
There was a band playing traditional Irish music, with a harp, harmonica, violin and guitar.
There was also a parade down Bank Street, the one of the main downtown streets. At the Montreal parade, someone died falling under one of the floats and they cut it short.
