A very straight man-made river in Niagara

We went in a really over-stocked comic shop, it was a little tiny space and had boxes of stuff everywhere, all spread out on the floor so you could hardly move round. Had some cool stuff there.
Walking round Dufferin Island, it's surrounded by collections of slow and fast moving pools that all feed into the river at the top of the falls. It's very cool and relaxed there.
Building by the side of the river that used to use the water power, and the long shape to the left is a stranded barge, the Scow, which they reckon will one day break up and go over the falls.
There's a daredevil exhibition. Someone went over the falls in this metal thing.Also once someone sent a cat over in a barrel :c(
There was a big lightning storm, this is the view from our hostel (with an abandoned game of draughts).
