Seeing the Argonauts

We saw B.C. Lions against Toronto Argonauts. American football seems a mad experience - the gameplay is in short 30 second stints till someone is tackled each time, and it's constantly punctuated with music, adverts, people running on the pitch to do competitions, video's of people talking to the crowd, cheerleaders dancing and people hyping the crowd up. This is in between the bigger quarterly breaks, when the videos and competitions and shows go into overload.
It's like a live-action version of constantly changing TV channels. It was loads of fun, but Argonauts lost in the final quarter, which was a shame.
