Andrew, Lucy and I went to see WWE Raw and Superstars being filmed. There was a pay per view the previous night in Montreal (I'd watched it over the net on Angela's computer) so much of the story tonight was following it up.
The Air Canada Center was immense, the final gate figure was about 17,000 people.
Andrew was sat 8 rows from the ring (in the black hat, grey tshirt looking up). Lucy and I were in the cheap seats so were much further back, but still with a good view of everything (but lucky the camera has a zoom function!)
Former Women's champ Trish Stratus was the host. She's a native of Toronto and got a big reaction.
Tons of people were here to see DX, a reformed team of two big stars, they probably got the biggest reaction of the night, and showed up a few times.
Their match went into the crowd.
Hornswoggle the midget
Chris Jericho
Big Show on the left is huge in real life, I think 7 foot something.
Lots of pyrotechnics during wrestler entrances, they were really loud if you weren't expecting them.
One match was no DQ, so they used chairs
William Regal, at the top, is from Blackpool. Everyone booed him as he was against Christian, a Canadian (and English characters are always bad guys anyway). But I didn't boo, I think he's good.
The show was loads of fun, and great to see live.
